By accessing or using Sidequests ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App. Sidequests is operated from Canada and these terms are governed by the laws of Canada.
Sidequests is a gamified task management application that allows you to create, organize, and complete personal tasks ("quests") with progression mechanics including XP, levels, streaks, and coins. The App is available on iOS and Android with cross-device sync.
To use Sidequests, you must create an account using your email address, Google, or Apple sign-in. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information and be at least 13 years of age.
Sidequests offers a free tier and a premium subscription tier:
Premium subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. By subscribing, you agree to the pricing displayed at the time of purchase. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
You can manage or cancel your subscription through your device's app store settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for unused portions of a billing period. Refund requests must be directed to Apple or Google, as applicable.

The Sidequests app, including its design, logo, code, and content, is the intellectual property of Sidequests and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You retain ownership of the task content you create within the App.
Your use of Sidequests is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.
We strive to keep Sidequests available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time with reasonable notice. Your locally cached data remains accessible offline.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sidequests shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or interruption of service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the App's settings. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases, and we may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or by email. Continued use of Sidequests after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
